I’m trying to limit my exclamation point usage since my editor pointed out eight of them in one argument, but as this is my first event, I think it warrants one. ReplyDeleteMy novella was just signed with Lyrical Press as well. Nice to meet another fantasy writer! (Although my fantasy isn't very dark...it's too fluffy for that!) And the story that Lyrical Press signed is actually my first attempt at science fiction.

ReplyDeleteYou're welcome. I love reading blogs. The story I contracted with Lyrical is a paranormal romance about a recovering addict searching for redemption and closure. But when she starts having feelings for a human DEA agent, she knows she's in trouble.
ReplyDeleteMy space opera is about the captain of a prison transport ship. When her ship is attacked she has to find a way to keep her crew safe and determine who's responsible.
